VIA Inventory of Strengths-P (VIA-IS-P), "VIA Survey"
Main assessment on VIA website used by the public
Aligned with the VIA Institute's mission to continue to advance the science of character, and in recognizing a number of opportunities to improve the original scales, Robert McGrath, Ph.D., VIA Senior Scientist, has completed a substantial, 2-year revision of the VIA Inventory of Strengths, as well as the development of several new scales. These new instruments are called the VIA Assessment Suite for Adults. A Technical Report describing the VIA Assessment Suite for Adults is available. See the VIA Assessments page for more details about the virtue scales and signature strengths.
The VIA-IS-P was developed using the same strategy as the VIA-IS-M except only VIA-IS-R items keyed in the positive direction were eligible for inclusion. This version is for use when negatively keyed items may be a source of confusion for the test-taker. Again, 24 strengths scale scores are reported as are 9 virtue scales and signature strengths.

The VIA-IS-P, "VIA Survey" has been translated into the following languages.
